US - Mexico border

I think this is amazing - click to see it bigger - from here http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsroom/NewImages/images.php3?img_id=4096
False colour satellite image shows the variation in water use, with the active vegetation in red. The water comes from the Colorado river which flows across the border, but its source is in the US.

Hi Lily
great to see your site and to hear how you are doing. Looks like and sound like you made a great decision going to New Zealand.
Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.
Have fun
love Shauna.
